Over the past year, Ballet Cymru’s artist in residence, Carl Chapple, has been creating a new collection of pictures for two forthcoming exhibitions – the first at Ffin y Parc Gallery, Llanrwst, and the second at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
Supported by Arts Council of Wales, both shows will feature paintings and drawings inspired by Ballet Cymru dancers and choreographers, involving pieces from our pre-professional programme, the 2019 International Ballet Summer School, and company productions Divided We Stand, Celtic Concerto, and Romeo a Juliet.
Both exhibitions will be free to visit.
September 15th to October 9th – Ffin y Parc Gallery, Llanrwst. Audio tours for blind and partially sighted visitors on September 28th.
November 30th to Jan 5th - Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. Audio tours and figure drawing workshops TBA.
For further information, please visit: the artist’s website at www.carlchapple.com.
